Flippa Ball

This year Triton will build on it's successful Flippa-ball program to continue to introduce children to the game.The Triton junior water polo program, Flippa Ball, is a program to introduce children under below 12 to the sport and has modified rules such as the Auskick program within the AFL.

The Triton managed and coordinated Flippa Ball program has between 80 and 100 children involved during the recent season which Triton hope to grow to 150 over the next two years. Triton has recently appointed Mark Oberman, a 1992 Olympian representative, as the Triton Flippa Ball coach and coordinator.

The 2011 'Come and Try Day’ will be held on Sunday September 16th October beginning at 8:00 am until 10:00am. There will two sessions between with teams to be determined at the beginiing of the season.

Flippa Ball Season Details

The Triton District Flippa-ball Competition will commence on Sunday 23rd of October at 08:00 to 10:00am through to the 18th of December. There will be a Christmas Break until the the 15th of January when the competition resumes. The season will end on the 18th March 2012.
