UWA Torpedoes
Triton Water Polo Club is closely associated with the National Water Polo League (NWPL) through the
UWA Torpedoes. The NWPL is an elite competition managed by Australian Water Polo; the national governing body for the sport of water polo in Australia. It is the equivalent to the AFL with a season involving interstate travel for all teams and a national final series.
Water Polo is the oldest, continuously conducted team sport of the modern Olympic Games and the NWPL is seen as a major breeding ground for the development of players aspiring to play for Australia.
Through a close association with the UWA Torpedoes, Triton players have access to an end-to-end program to help them aspire to the highest level within the sport.
